How can you help?
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that has. (Margaret Mead – Anthropologist 1901-1978)
The Treehouse School is unique: its origins, priorities, educational approach, benefits for children and freedom from the restrictions that other schools face, mean that there is no other like it in the United Kingdom. However this comes at a cost: the school does not attract public funding and so is totally dependent on fundraising, grants and donations. The trustees realise that financing the school will continue to be their biggest challenge, so we are seeking support from the community.
There are many ways that you can help us, check out some of the examples below to find the way that best suits you.
Extend our network
Please tell your friends and acquaintances about our school and its aims, particularly if they are someone who you think would be in a position to help us.

The Treehouse General Stall
The Treehouse has a stall at the Local Producers’ Market, held in the Regal, Wallingford every Saturday morning 10am – 1pm. The stall stocks a range of locally sourced products including bread, flour, crisps, eggs, cheese, wine, lemonade and beer.
All profits from the stall go to the school.

An eco-build will be part of this project, so we are looking for individuals or organisations that would be willing to donate materials or labour. Sponsor a child’s place
We are looking for individuals or organisations that would be willing to sponsor a child’s place for a year. Funding would be used to provide a child with the opportunity to receive an alternative edcuation at The Treehouse as well as supporting an important research project. Monthly newsletters, an annual Open Day and report from our Trustees would ensure that sponsors are kept well informed about the school’s progress. For more details, please get in touch.
Become A Keystone Founder
To ensure the longevity of this project, we are looking for individuals or organisations who are prepared to pledge £25,000 as a one off or three year commitment. Our charitable status will ensure that this funding is well utilised and accounted for. For more details, please get in touch.
