These are delicious, really easy to make and I find half dark and half milk chocolate gives the perfect result. Add chocolate or butterscotch pieces for an extra crunch!
200g Dark chocolate (or 100g dark, 100g milk choc)
175g unsalted butter
300g caster sugar
130g plain flour
3 beaten eggs
(Any extras you would like to add – honeycomb, white chocolate buttons or choc pieces)
Preheat the oven to 170ºc.
Gently melt the chocolate and the butter in a saucepan.
Allow to cool slightly before adding the sugar.
Add the flour and beaten eggs.
Pour into well a greased tin and bake for 30 – 35 mins.
Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
